The only time DM could ever beat Roy is ... now. No way Roy could stave off the KO; it causes my eyes to water watching him slide around the ring on the ropes and punching infrequently.

He had the opportunity IF he had come to America to fight or agreed to fight in a third party country. He had to stay in Germany and Roy flatly nixed that as he should. You think we have shady decisions here(we do) but Germany is just silly how they protect whoever the reigning guy is.

Darek wanted to fight Jones ANYWHERE. He said that many times. He just wasn't offered the money in USA. They wanted to pay him like a challenger, so he said **** off. That's it.

I think in their prime RJJ would beat him by decision, and it would be a close fight.

Roy Jones himself was already on the downside by the time he fought Tarver so I dont use that fight to judge Jones.

Roy and DM should have fought in 98 or 99 when they were both at there best.
