however. DM did as well. I never said he could not punch.
Perhaps but Griffin vs. Jones I a really close fight before teh DQ.

The only time DM could ever beat Roy is ... now. No way Roy could stave off the KO; it causes my eyes to water watching him slide around the ring on the ropes and punching infrequently.

He better keep his ass out of the ring competitively. He's had his time. Time to chill and enjoy Life.

He had the opportunity IF he had come to America to fight or agreed to fight in a third party country. He had to stay in Germany and Roy flatly nixed that as he should. You think we have shady decisions here(we do) but Germany is just silly how they protect whoever the reigning guy is.

                I do agree.

If DM fought like he did against Hill, then maybe he could survive

                a couple of rounds.

Im not saying RJJ's chin is any better, and Tiozzo is not half ass

puncher, BUT DM's chin is suspect. Especially against a slick

fighter whom he cant see attacking.

How is his chin suspect? He's been TKO'd once. Have you seen what his face looks like after his fights?

Yeah, sure. That's why Gonzales won the title...

Darek wanted to fight Jones ANYWHERE. He said that many times. He just wasn't offered the money in USA. They wanted to pay him like a challenger, so he said **** off. That's it.

I think in their prime RJJ would beat him by decision, and it would be a close fight.

Indeed. Unfortunately for whatever reason the public was robbed of this fight. I still would like to see them fight even though they are both past their prime.
