LOL !!!! That is ironic and sad at the same time. I heard of that from a friend who saw the show.... but I must say falling in open sea is no fun.... I love to travel every now and then with friends between PR and the US ****** Islands and sometimes the sea is ruff, but I always enjoy it, never thought the death toll was so high in fishing.

well I can see it happening the most when you go open water fishing. Actually I have friends whom fish and they told me why this happens. The tragic event usually happens when you got to much of a big bait and you do not let go and you go overboard and hit your self with the haul of the boat, hence you go unconscious and drown in the water, or the boat tips over because you did not follow the weather the day you went out to sea.

                Ya on one hand.
It's not only in Scandinavian Europe. There are other countries.

                China for example.

From 1959 until 1986, boxing was a forbidden sport in China, as Mao Zedong banned it because it was too violent and ruthless and didn't represent Chinese ideals.

"Theodoric came with his army to Italy in 488, where he won the battles of Isonzo and Verona in 489 and at the Adda in 490. In 493 he took Ravenna. On February 2, 493, Theodoric and Odoacer signed a treaty that assured both parties would rule over Italy. A banquet was organized in order to celebrate this treaty. It was at this banquet that Theodoric, after making a toast, killed Odoacer with his own hands."
History is full of power grabbing atrocities.

                      .
Banning a sport? Bad. Destroying the Chinese economy and murdering countless innocent individuals who happen to disagree with you? Good.
