        Im sorry but Cotto gas too many times in the later round. His whole training staff is what held cotto down for a while. If he had better people around him(cutman, trainer, conditioning coach) he would be an alot better fighter now.
        I would have to agree with you there... something's could improve, not sure if that's Cotto corner.

          I thought he was, but a friend of mine here who lives near him told me he still saw him out drinking last week, and that he's also seen him doing this 2 weeks before leaving for Vegas for fights. No wonder dude has stamina problems.

              I'm not sure how much he weighs right now, i think the weight could be the only reason for him to start so early!!!!! Pretty much like hatton. He had to have 3 month training camps to get back down to fight weight!!!
              cotto won't overtrain if he slowly working his way up... plus he needs the cardio anyways.

                boxers usually start doing light training (roadwork and shadow boxing like shadey says) as far in advance as 12 weeks prior to a fight.
