Mangler....what you just stated...is the dam truth....even though there will be people who will say otherwise. No one gave Manny a chance against DLH...and its not Manny's fault DLH wanted to weigh 142 2 weeks before the fight to see if that would increase his speed....and Hatton was suppose to be this "beast" who was still in his prime and was the "bigger/ stronger" fighter....the 2nd round KO (my favorite Cannibus track by the way) proved that theory wrong.....

Pacquiao didn't beat Marquez in my eyes, so Mayweather winning...he'd accomplish something Pacquiao hasn't in my opinion.Comment

Actually, no, it doesn't. Marquez going up to welterweight is exactly like Pacquiao when he faced Oscar. But here's the kicker--in all likelihood Marquez will be slower and will have less power when he faces Mayweather, who will be closer to his natural weight than Oscar at 147. Incidentally, if Marquez puts up a better fight than most people expect, his performance will be better than Pacquiao's victory over Oscar.Last edited by rao007; 08-20-2009, 01:21 AM.Comment

Weight has nothing to do with it. Floyd is a the WEAKEST welterweight around.Actually, no, it doesn't. Marquez going up to welterweight is exactly like Pacquiao when he faced Oscar. If he beats JMM, it will be his skills. And lets not ignore the possibility that floyd may be slower than he was 2 years ago, since he has aged and been out of the ring for a 18 months.
Nah, lets just pile up the excuses for JMM like he is facing Wladimir Klitschko.Comment
