People crack me up. First of all, it's a shame Paul is not getting fights at WW. Schaefer is scared.

Second of all, styles make fights. Hopkins is not Quintana, and last time I checked Hopkins lost two fights to Taylor (although I had him winning both, they were that close). A guy who throws a billion punches, with both hands, from every angle, inside and outside, would drive Hopkins AT THIS AGE nuts. Holding and headbutting would not win him the fight. Sorry. Pavlik is a robot that comes one way. Williams is the opposite of that.

I think that pretty much sums it up.

I'm not so sure how Hopkins will cope with Williams stamina because he doesn't stop throwing. Would be a good match though.

Uh, what do you mean by this? Hopkins is better than Quintana in every regard. How did Quintana beat Williams? Lateral movement, counter punching, fighting smart. Gee, hopkins excels in all of those categories.

Not too mention we have no idea how Williams can take a punch at 160, let alone 170. Counter right to Williams face? Who knows what would happen. If they can knock down Calzaghe and Tarver, chances are they may knock down Williams too.

I'm still waiting on a source. I try to keep up on Hopkins articles as much as possible but I'm not seeing anything other than Schaefer entertaining the idea.

I would actually give Williams the nod in a close fight that BHop would believe he won.

Williams has a high workrate and a huge reach, BHop is not active enough to win enough rounds.

I'd imagine it would be a razor thin UD or a SD for Paul Williams and BHop would claim robbery.

I dont think Williams is ready for someone like me but you know what they say in boxing, money talks. If HBO and the people want it then i'll oblige.
