BHop looked fatigued and frustrated with Calzaghe's high slap output. If Williams can keep up his energy level and punch output, I think he beats Hopkins fairly easy.

How you know they wont pay him? They re-opened the talks with adamek for a fight for January meaning they are willing to pay him more.

I personally think Hopkins will fight adamek, the only reason I see him fighting Williams is if he wants to prove to people he can still beat someone who throws a lot of punches. Other than that I don't see the appeal of williams, adamek brings more to his legacy.

PWill is an HBO fighter so he's getting paid by HBO, Adamek is a Showtime fighter, he isn't getting paid by HBO.

This fight is pointless for Hopkins since he wanted to accomplish something else in boxing like win at Cruiser so I dont see this one happening. Not to mention if Pavlik Hopkins PPV was dissapointing imagine this one.

Bernard only lost to one southpaw throughout his career and that was to Calzaghe. For awhile, he was known as the southpaw assassin. I just think, as crafty as BHop is, he still cant cope with Williams work rate.

as a fan of both fighters, i must admit, there's no way in hell this fight happens.....

first of all, goosen wants williams to fight in october. no way in hell hopkins will be ready in a little over a month from now. the earlier this fight happens is mid-november or in december, and if that's the case, they might as well reschedule the pavlik fight.....

as for hopkins, he needs to sit his ass down. at this point, it's either dawson or calzaghe or retirement....**** moving up to cruiserweight, just to grab another belt from a guy who's already been beaten.....a win against the guy who already beat adamek, chad dawson, is waaaaay more impressive than moving up and fighting adamek, whom the majority of ppl think will lose to hopkins anyway......dawson's the tougher fight, gets hopkins more respect.
