If I were Manny I would tell him to lose the weight or the fights off. I mean after all that talk and barter about a catchweight, and Cotto comes over?
A million per pound. I hear that's in the contract, maybe even more than a million.

Cotto aint that rich to approve of that clause. De La Hoya is rich so there was nothing wrong with him, but Cotto aint no De La Hoya money-wise.

Hah. A certain other Pinoy just fought a guy who was near 5 pounds (probably more) heavier than him.

are you referring about the weight come fight night? if youre referring to the weigh ins then no. cause the weigh in limit is 145

Assuming the million dollar penalty is in effect and no cancellation for coming in a pound or two over, I would think the benefits (i.e. potential future earnings for being 100% against pac, as opposed to being drained, if he feels it would make that big a difference) would outweigh the costs.
