Arum is the greediest promoter out there. His does make some good match ups but he won't ever let Cotto fight Williams and has kept Pac well away from anything dangerous recently. The Cotto-Pac bout is a good fight though.

Yeah it's not like they are matching their two best money fighters up or anything. Just protecting both of them from big fights. ****ing bull**** I tell ya.

Ridiculous thread. GBP is killing boxing by attempting to monopolize the sport. Pinoy Power the other night had very good match ups on it. Keep in mind Peterson was coming off a year lay off, the Luevano fight with Concepcion was not matched soft at all and the main event was very competitive. I don't see what the problem is. Top Rank is matching their best two welterish fighters in Pac and Cotto.

The one advantage UFC has on boxing is there business structure.. mma is not really all that popular..it's really just ufc... imagin if we had that.. one promotion, one champion per division, the best vs the best...

The problem is in that structure only 10-15 people have the ability to make any real money. In boxing more people want to make money than that. And more people deserve to make more money than that,

You are right about the difference in popularity between MMA and UFC though.
