Arreola needs to be in the best shape of his life if he wants to push this all the way.

Of course he has to jump him from the early onset, there's no way he can last into the championship rounds.

Actually another note, if you switch Arreola and Chambers around I think both would have better odds to win. Arreola is the type guy that can beat Wlad and Chambers is the type that can give Vitali trouble.

        Just sayin
No, Wlad would have no trouble whatsoever with Arreola. Wlad-Arreola would be a lot like Wlad-Wolfgramme in the 1996 Olympic final. Wolfgramme was a big, overweight, powerful puncher, who KOed the Cuban who was favored to win that year.

Wlad looked awesome against Chagaev, he improved after the losses several years ago and is still in his prime at age 33.

The age 38 Vitali is older and slower than Wlad, and became tired by the seventh round of his last fight. His stamina used to be excellent (see Donald and Purrity fights). Arreola has a better chance of beating Vitali.

However, I agree Chambers would have a better chance of winning a decision over Vitali.

There's really nothing else for him to do though. He's not going to outbox Vitali. His best chance is to go in with guns blazing and try to take him out early. I can't really see any other effective game plan unless Arreola comes in, in superb shape, which I don't really see happening.

Man I can't wait for this fight. I'm more excited about this fight than I was for Wladimir vs. David Haye.

I don't understand Arreola's trainer's rational for disclosing their "fight plan." Or maybe he's providing "disinformation" to confuse the Klitschko camp. If the case is the former, then I don't understand why you would give your opponent the 'heads up' on your strategy. And even if it's the ladder, I'm not sure what they think to accomplish...

My strategy or "fight plan" for fighting a Klitshcko: Have a plan A, B, C thru Z. You gotta throw every imaginable look at them and hope something works...

If he drops twenty pounds and works on stamina, he has a shot. If he comes in chunky and throwing slow, single punches without showing any head movement or defense (like his last few fights), he's dead.

This is a ****** ****** ****** plan. He's not going to hurt Vitali because he's barely going to touch him. Vitali just isn't going to get hit by Chris because he's too slow and he's going to come into the fight over 250 pounds.

Not to mention if he's under 245 it's going to be hell for him because he's going to be completely weight drained.

Let's face it even an in shape Arreola can't beat Klitschko.

...furthermore Arreola wouldn't beat Wlad either..not even win 1 round.

LOL!!! Run STRAIGHT IN against the most ferocious and powerful heavyweight boxer of all time? Christ, Arreola better have an emergency crew ready at ring side for this fight. He'll need a couple stretchers taped together with ducked tape to carry his corpulent ass out.
