Martinez would be a bad fight for Williams. We've already seen what happened when Williams faced a southpaw boxer who moves and uses angles (Quintana 1). Martinez is bigger, stronger, and overall a better fighter than Quintana ever was.

I would like to see that fight but I'm sure PWill's camp doesn't.

As for Miranda, he has his own issues. He needs to find a couple people he can beat before going at another one of boxing's elite.

Don't be suprised if Williams vs. Mora becomes a reality.

Don't worry about the bout with Pavlik, it will happen, there is already a big demand for it. It just will have to wait till Pavlik is fit.

I'm a fan of both. I wouldn't expect either of them to wait around for the other. I was looking forward to the fight and still haven't decided on what the outcome could possibly be.

PW should move on and look for Pav down the road. Pav needs to get his **** together and do the same.

Us fans still have plenty of fights coming up to look forward too.

Injuries happen. Pw is passing up potentialy his biggest payday and a chance to be the middle weight champion of the world. Course PW should wait til NOV...bad move if he doesnt.

Never seen the guy fight but it would be good to fight for the "Full" Championship at 154. But I wonder if that is enough time to have a full training camp AND loose the weight necessary to get down there.

I thought that at one point, but it may be best to move on. If his hand has been infected for 4 months already, I doubt an extra 4 weeks will have him at 100%. But with the economy all jacked up, would Pavliks fan base have been able to make the trip to AC on such short notice. A lot of different angles to think about.

Martinez is a good boxer, but who has Martinez beat? Buenema! And he drew with Cintron. I think the guy has good ability but where was he 2 - 3 years ago when 154 was hot? With over 40 fights, he should have done something. He is a slick boxer who fights with his hands down?!?! I think Pwill would beat him down.
