No one cares for his fight. I think floyd is the most gifted and best technical fighter in the game and in my generation but this is good for him. Finally he will be put into a position that he will have to face true welter weights after his next fight. Damn pacman is going againts cotto. i can't even laugh at this ****** ****. if he fights like a real fighter and not like a sissy like he did in the hatton fight. he should be alright and does'nt have to worry about the judges and ref.

Of course you cant win on the cards against the HBO fighter in his own backyard. You signed up for a fight you can not win unless you clearly win 11 rounds. You cant knock Diaz out either which hurts your chances...

Magic is faster by hand and foot he can easily put on a boxing clinic if he concentrates on fighting the fighter and not get distracted by this cosmetic **** (the crowd, the style, the judges, ref, the entrance music, etc.) It should motivate him that much more to be on his A+ game! The gloves are top of the line so he doesn't really have to worry about going all out and breaking anything in this one. It's not about that **** though in the end it's about coming to represent, stomping your name in the chest of whoever is standing in your way of etching your name on the wall amongst the greatest names in our sport and leaving behind your legacy.

Money, hometown? He had no choice, this is his last network fight if he he looks bad---- he has no leverage, why complain--he's getting his half mil...fired his last two trainers, got a pizza slice guy as advsior---once a likable guy--and one on one still his--his posse are gravy trainers and simply--valiant in defeat and average in victory is a tired schtick when coupled with his receding hairline we'll see him in a commentator's chair soon

I'm a big Diaz fan, but Paulie has some valid points here (and he's in my top 15 as well)... I can see how this can really weigh on him, since we know Paulie has to go hard the full 12 to even have the slightest chance of winning. It is basically impossible for him to stop Diaz. I could never look at Paulie as a whiner or a boxer looking for an excuse, because he can't break an egg but always looks for the stiffest challenges. All I can ask for is a tough, clean, and fair fight...
