I like Dirrell aswell, to me he is the most veried fighter of the lot. It will be interesting to see if he can use his vast array of skills to the fullest potential, to win it all he will need to do this.

Why would you pick Dirrell to win? what can you base it on? looking good against bums and Journeymen?

There is no possible way to have any informed judgement about how he can do, because quite simply he hasn't been in with anyone good enough to judge his standard.

1st of all I always ripped Lacy on here when everyone was bragging on him. He might have been a big bully but his overall skillset is nothing compared to Dirrell's. As far as your point about him not doing anything yet, you could say that about every great fighter in history. No one has done it until they do it, right? This is his chance. That doesnt mean that no one has ever picked a great fighter to be great even when he was a nobody. Its all about what you see. When Floyd, Cotto, or whoever was beating up on bums, alot of people still felt they would be great fighters even before they fought anyone that was good. Sometimes youre right and sometimes you are wrong. Not to brag but I usually have a good eye for these things : )

The problem with Dirrell is that he's making a huge huge huge jump up right off the bat and that doesnt usually happened. However, I think his skillset is so high that he could pull it off if he has enough heart

right now im favouring froh simply because of the experience factor.

i think AA and kess are the two best fighters in the comp and AA and kess will be in the final.

pascal was weight drained and JT post b-hop has been anything but a champion fighter (a draw against winky, unconvincing wins over kassim ouma and lacy and losses to pavlik).

Every poll I go on I pick Dirrell, then I come back a few days later and he still only has 1 pick beside his name. 1st of all, this tourney is mad stack and any of the guys could probably win it for me except for Froch. I just dont see him doing it but I guess its possible. I also know that Dirrell lacks the experince of the other guys but I still think alot of this goes back to what I always say and that is people are biased against pure boxers. The fans & media hate those guys in this day & age so everyone thinks there bums no matter what. I think Dirrell is the most talented of the group and I definatly think he beats Froch. After that he has a hard matchup with Abraham who will probably be the harest guy for him to beat but I think he's the real deal and will get it done

I'll put my money on ward, after seeing him switch it up against Miranda I think he will grow up quick and put a boxing clinic on.
