But somehow two men who speak broken English will get over a million, laughable.

What exactly will Pacman – Cotto appeal too?

    Rican v Pinoy
    Hispanic v Asian

There is many factors which this fight does well.

This fight will not out do PBF-Hatton, 100%
Say what you will dude, but this fight is going to do over a Million buys.

Embrace the fight, you're gonna watch it anyway. What's the point of downplaying it? LOL it's like getting mad because female took you out to dinner. LOL, whats the point?

How was I downplaying it??? It’s a top fight but we need to be realistic there. Pacman is NOT a household name in America.

        It guaranteed 1.2 to 1.5 i guess... 2.5 I don't think so maybe Mayweather/Pac superfight probably will.

Have you physically been around the country to know that or do you rely on Internet Polls? This fight is already getting a bigger buzz than Hatton vs Pacquiao got up to this point. Pacquiao's been on televised Nike commercials during a damn Baseball game on ESPN, but yea...people don't know who Pacquiao is. Look at the requests from Hollywood stars that were requesting tickets for Cotto vs Pacquiao. How would they even know about this fight or much less cared if Pacquiao wasn't a star? How many Pro Fighters today were getting co-signed by the NBA champions?

He's a marquee name in the US. Not a Jeter, Lebron, or Kobe...but he IS a name...and you know why? Because he beat Oscar De La Hoya. The same way Floyd made a name off Oscar, Pacquiao did the same. The only difference is, Pacquiao is still fighting the big fights, and even the casual fans take notice. Don't be naive to what the casual fans know and want.

The timing of PBF-DLH fight was perfect thus it resulted in a 2.5mil PPV buys, with the current state of economy around the world were lucky if the pacman-cotto fight reaches 1.5mil PPV, but i do hope when the time comes and Manny-Floyd fight happens, i hope the economy improves somehow and PPV reaches the 2.5-2.8mil mark and it will be great for boxing as a whole...
