Which JMM fights are more significant? His 2 fights with Pacquiao or his 2 wins @ 135

I might have to look back at the fight but technically apart from the first 2 rounds--Pacquiao would've only needed three more rounds out of the next 10 rounds to make a draw. But here's the thing--one of the judges scored the first round a 10-7 rather than a 10-6, which would've given Pacquiao the nod. So while Pacquiao lost more rounds to Marquez in the end the three knockdowns should've superseded it.Last edited by rao007; 08-17-2009, 10:41 PM.Comment

I think the Manny fights gave JMM the motivation to KTFO Casamayor and Diaz... His fights at Lightweight were very significant in that he became World Lightwieght Champion by knocking out the two best fighters in the division, who BTW, had never been previously stopped. And these are his ONLY two fights in the division.Comment

No fighter will reach the P4P list if the fighter went against an old Casamayor and Juan Diaz. (You can even include the Salidos, the Jacas, the Terdsaks and the Polos)
Any fighter who gets a draw and a competitive SD loss against Pacquiao will make the P4P list.
It's a fact.Comment
