On the other side, JMM on Mannys resume doesnt mean much.

But a loss to Manny on JMMs resume is gold... weird how that works

that's not totally true, JMM on Manny's resume, specifically the second fight legitimizes PAC's third lineal belt ...

also they where top 1 & 2 at FW & SFW when they fought...

The 2 wins are more significant since they're actually wins. But long after he's gone from this world JMM will be defined by his 2 or possibly 3 fights with Pacquiao

All four of these fights were pretty amazing victories for marquez. Well in my opinion that is. In all 4four of these we see two men fighting their hardest and one man that being marquez figure out the other fighters strategy and just stright up fight the best fight a fighter could so to combat it. Hes such a smart guy, thats not something that can be taught, its natural. The pac fights did open the worlds eyes to just how good marquez could be. Fighters like him need great opposition to bring the best out of them. This is why i feel marquez vs mayweather will be a great fight.

The first fight was more clear than the second imo. Faulty first round scoring aside, JMM won pretty much every round from 2-12.
This is an appreciation thread for JMM, this is not a hate thread for either fighters, so pls dont do this!! And to say that Marquez won 11 rounds to 1 round of Manny is dumb and idiotic, the judges scored it a draw!!! So are you implying that the judges went out for a break during the 4th to the last round?!! Both are elite fighters willing to fight each other anytime, try to appreciate them both..

his 2 fights with pac.. even he got knockdown for me he is still the better boxer and the more skilled.. pac is just gifted with power and speed but skillwise and technical marquez beats him.

I think his two fights with Manny definitely set up his title shots at 135lbs.
