I really liked how Cotto has been up to this point. Ok he outweighed guy by 17lbs, we know what can happen with that(see Gatti-Gamache). Though he didn't put on any impressive performance really considering the huge advantage, much less he got ROCKED BADLY by a guy 17lbs less than him and didn't even go in for the kill. If that was Gatti, oh man, Gatti would have exploded on him until Cotto was out. I give much respect to Corley who I thought was really just gonna be slaughtered after hearing about the weight issue. BTW-Sweet Pac-Morales PROMO!

Are you kidding me. Just because he got popped with a hard shot that would have wobbled any 140lber. He WOULD have knocked corley out in the next 2 rounds. I agree the stoppage was early but cotto would have knocked him out eventually.

When Corley had Cotto dazed he should have thrown combinations to the head first and then the body. If he did that I think he might have knocked Cotto out.

naw man, he would have to kill cotto for the ref to stop the fight.
Cotto would have to start rotting for days till that PR ref would stop it. His count instead of 10 seconds would have been 10 days

Corley showed us his brazillian jiu-jitsu talent tonight.

                  by repeatedly "kneeing the canvas".

i know most likely it isnt so, but thats exactly what I thought. I'm sure the explanation is that Corley was more surprised than anyone that Cotto was hurt

Those punches he through while Cotto was on the ropes were PATHETIC.

Cotto better not go any higher than 147, he can't take a big punch.

i was thinking the same thing, on one instance, corlet got hit by a shot in his shoulder and he leaned back on the ropes and started blinking and opening his eyes wide, and that was before cotto really hit him
