Klitschkos would be just as dominating in the 60s and 70s

Right. As would "Dr. Stahlhammer" alias Dr. Steelhammer be.

Still, Merseyside's and your own point is valid.

The poll of Dr. Ironfist does not even allow something like "They are good, but could be defeated by the best of the 70s", or "Foreman would school them!". This will shut off any decent discussion, since many ATG fans will simply not join such a thread. This does not help the reputation of the Klitschko fans at all.

It's the reason I did not vote at all.

@Equilibrium: I thought, we were talking about Prime vs. Prime. Wlad has improved tremendously in the last five years, Sanders didn't beat prime Wlad.

Dr Ironfist is a good name yes, but when somebody has a boxers name or nickname, they usually don't agree with anything that would suggest that their favourite boxer would lose.

It's fair to think that The K bro's would do well in that era, but to have a poll like that is rediculous.

Wlad would probably be about 24-8 and be forced to retire due to suffering brain damage from so many knockouts, and Vitali would likely have around six or seven losses, most of them coming by wide decision.

They are so much better than all the other heavyweights that they make the division look shallow........no one has a chance against them...

The older fighters were in wars becase they were not so dominant...

granted they would not dominate but they would be in the top of the pile......Ali Frazer and foreman lost to lesser men than the klits

Ali Frazier and Foreman may have lost to lesser men at some point in their careers, but would any of them lose to Corrie Sanders, Purrity or Brewster?

Are you saying Sanders and Brewster are bums?? If so, then you should go and take a look at some of their fights brother! Both have impressive records.

No, of course none of them are bums. They do have impressive records and are decent fighters.

But if you compare them to Ali, Frazier and Foreman... they are in a completley different league.

Jimmy Young was a talented fighter, but his record is 34-19. Somebody would say the same about him, but he beat both Foreman and Ali (unofficially).
