    Exactly...

Boxing these days is way overpriced.

1K for corners and you want someone to pay more than that?

    Good luck guys.

You would have been better off picking up $300 tickets and try to sell them for $400-$500. And if you couldn't sell them for a profit you could sell them off at the last minute to get your money back, a lot easier to do that than trying to find someone to pay the 1K you paid so close to the fight to try and get your money back.

That would be a lot easier than getting someone to pay more than 1K for corner seats.

There are way more people that can afford $400-$500 than can afford more than 1K.

Hell, I can go on ticketmaster right now and get seats in the same section that these guys picked up for 1K...where's the demand?

Those 1K seats will be available on ticketmaster for the next couple of months.

The demand for events like these is in the cheaper tickets, not the more expensive ones. That's why they sell out first.

More people can afford to pay $400-$500 than can afford to pay more than $1000...that's why the cheapest seats sell out faster than the more expensive ones, especially for boxing.

You guys have made good points on why this was a bad move, but when it comes to oscar pac tix that was a fight people thought was a mismatch in oscars favour going in. Pac-Cotto is a fight that any fan knows is going to be exciting, and have plenty of action. Not to mention Pac is the biggest draw in the sport. yes its a gamble, but its 3 months away and once the press tour starts to kick off and we see coverage of the fight on mainstream tv dont u think that will hike prices up vs. down?

Anyone who's anyone is going to want to be at this fight. Seating is limited. Im just banking that this fight is a hot hot ticket and everyone is going to want to be there...
