For the Cotto fight.....he is innocent 'til proven guilty. I'm not saying he didn't use illegal wraps, but you can only say so much without proof.

He was obviously caught out for the Mosley fight, so there will be a dark cloud over his head for the rest of his career.

dude , out of all the cotto fights his face never looked like that. His **** was swollen bad! And cotto had been in plenty of wars before and never looked like that, and margarito is not even a brutal puncher. one other thing, why would they use wraps against mosley and not the biggest fight of his carreer?

I'm not sure whether he used them or not, but the findings of the commission was enough to make me turn my back on his ass for good ; and I was a real fan.

For the record I think Margarito beats Cotto 10 times out of 10.

He's just all wrong for Cotto, he can eat all of his shots, and he only gets stronger as the fight wears on.

That's no knock on Miguel, either. I just don't see him beating Margarito with or without wraps.

You said it perfect. I'm a cotto fan but just feel that margarito is just the wrong fighter for cotto. He was fighting a fighter who just keeps going forward unlike pacquiao who does not keep going forward but i'm still going to question ALL of margarito's fights. It's like a person getting caught cheating and they say it's the first time. Do you really believe them? I'll give miguel credit for beating him for 6rds, but it's also strange that cotto has NEVER gotten beat up that bad, beats mosley and yet mosley destroys margarito AFTER the plaster is found. Just very strange. NONE of us know when margarito cheated or if it was once, twice 5 times....only margarito,GOD and team knows.

just watched the cotto vs marg fight and cotto face wasn,t swollen up at all it was just that he couldn,t breath and his nose was swollen... now look at the hopkin vs joppy fight and joppy looked like he was beaten with a pipe... now if anyone knows boxing then you know that trinidad use to wrap his hand illegally and pretty much ruined reid, joppy and lets not forget vargas... i keep thinking of the joppy saying he had never been hit that hard before in life and i know a lot of people will say well, tito is a ****er and you just can,t stand in front of him but come on... just my opinion but, if marg was using wraps he would have stopped cotto way sooner then he did and would have really damaged him...cotto head would have looked like a pumkin right??? hey guys, don,t get me wrong by saying hopkins had illegal wraps against joppy, but he pretty much blowed joppy face up with does straight righthands...boxing need to sanction people who will observe fighter preparation before stepping into the ring and ending a boxer career... and i still say that marg used no illegal wraps what so ever now thats my opinion and if you like to comment you can give yours...

They did not. Even Margarito's team have said that noone from cotto's team went to margarito's room to checks gloves. Only ones there was Margarito's team and some people from commission and we all know they did terrible job at mosley fight. Cotto's team messed up !
