true, lets see if he fights Nard next.

I was at their first fight (I actually have a VHS video of Roy and I with Al Cole, Smoke Gainer etc etc etc after the first fight in his hotel room, there was a big party, just hanging out, his family, etc... very few people have ever seen it) and if they fought again I think I would go just for the high interest and for the fact that I was there for the first one...

I mean, I think with ALL the intangibles at work, everything taken into consideration..I think it would be a technical type of match up...and that it likely wouldnt be nearly as interesting as Lacy-Jones except to purists...and that all things considered RJ would have a very very good chance to win the fight...I'd favor him...

I think they just make typos when they say lacy is shot swap the O for an I and you have exactly what lacy is..... still i respect the guy for getting in there in the first place

this is how i see it, people say he is still the same as a couple of fights back, but i dont think so, i think back then he was trying the technical, flat footed winky wright defence style cause he felt he could no longer rely on his speed BUT, now he has reverted back to fighting like he used to back in the dayz because that other style was'nt working for him
look at him against hanshaw and ajamu...they're pretty much the same level as lacy, maybe even a level below, jones still lost some rounds and he did'nt do anything nearly as blistering as he did last weekend and this was back when he was around 36, im sure he could've done it if he wanted to
if he'd reverted back a little sooner he might've won against calzaghe
