it was intentional, just in the competitive spirit of letting luevano know that he (concepcion) was still in the fight......... i don't think that it was intentional in the regards of being malicious, or trying to cheat, but out of frustration and the fact that he just landed a clean shot just prior and was amped up.

bernabe did acknowledge the bell because luevano gave him a nod as to say good round, and went to touch gloves and he got cracked, it was really a lack of professionalism on bernabe's part.

i think luevano beats him in a rematch and he was beating him in that fight as well........

Concepcion knocks him out before the 8th next time. He will come out more aggressive after seeing tape. If he was more aggressive in this fight, it would've been an easier fight for him. He can take Luevano's power and Luevano cannot handle his. He didn't listen to Roach and was giving Luevano too much respect. He is faster and did well when he was throwing the jab he was able to close the gap and land big shots that hurt Luevano.

concepcion was losing and he knew it, and that is why he took a cheap shot. and concepcion was going to lose anyway because he wasn't throwing **** for punches. he abandoned any game plan that they had set up, and he wasn't using his jab.

and if you noticed, luevano is a heads up adaptive kind of fighter, because he was making adjustments each and every time bernabe tried to do something and if bernabe had any success he either didn't follow up on anything, never tried it twice, and when he did, luevano made an adjustment and kept bernabe at the end of his punches.

luevno controlled the geography of the fight with his jab and footwork, something bernabe didnt' have an answer to.
