Green was Toney's sparring partner or the other way around.

There's a funny story behind it actually, Green went to Wildcard gym with Roach training and said "Where's Toney? I'll put his lights out" as a joke. Needless to say Toney wasn't very happy when he heard it and challenged him to a fight so they ended up sparring eachother. You can hear Toney cursing him all the way through the sparring lmao.

Give credit to Danny Green. He held his ground against heavier Toney

it's hard to tell but was toney slimmed down & in decent shape? He looked slimmer but I'm on an iPhone so it's hard to tell.

This was a few years ago around the time of Holyfield fight so Green was 168 lbs fighting a 220 odd lbs James Toney who was close to his peak.

And that was prime TONEY(before RUIZ fight)

GREEN was SMW at that time and TONEY was HW.
