I know he was disappointed, but what I don't understand is why he keeps crying to the media about it. Like his life is so frigging bad.

There's a girl I watched this morning who got caught in Bali with 4.2 kilos of marijuana. The documentary I saw on HBO last night paints a CLEAR picture of how she is innocent. Traffickers are NOTORIOUS in Australia and Bali for using 'mules' (people who transport the stuff without knowledge of it) to deliver their crap and let them take the fall for being caught. Bali epicly failed at handling the evidence and now this girl is serving TWENTY YEARS in jail for a crime that she did not commit. And to believe, she was facing DEATH!

hatton got addicted to the accolades, the glory and the wealth. He still has scores of thousands of people supporting him, yet he complains. It ain't like Manny cheated. It ain't like he lost his one and only shot at proclaiming himself p4p best (though imo he would not have been because lucky punches happen) and it ain't like he doesn't have a pretty gf, a kid and a happy home. WTF is he still blubbering about?
Well he is being interviewed constantly and probably being asked the same questions over and over, and so that may be why it seems like he's crying all the time.

For me if I was humiliated like that in two rounds, I wouldn't wanna watch it for a while either..

Exactly. That's the point here. Hatton was a glorified club fighter. His idea of "defense" was to smother the opponent to death. Otherwise, he could not dodge a punch to save his life.

Someone else said that he got lucky against KT, and I agree completely.

                Leaving Boxing The Wrong Way

For the life of me, I just can't figure out why guys like DeLahoya and Hatton would want to end their careers on such a sour note? This is not the way star fighters should go out. It's not the loss that matters so much, it's how they lost that matters.

Whether you love or hate DeLahoya and Hatton, they were fighters that were good for boxing and had a mass following of loyal fans that will be talked about a decade from now. No fighter of their status should quit the game the way they did.

I'm not saying everyone can leave the sport the way Joe Calzaghe did but at least go out with a **** and I don't mean getting stopped or knocked out either. For their legacy's sake this is not the way star fighters should leave the sport. I agree they both should retire but not like this.

i want ricky hatton to retire but not on such a bad note. he needs to fight junior witter as there has been such a big rivalry between them. the only time he has ever lost was against the best p4p fighter in the world and 2 of the best fighters of the decade so he never did that bad. both times he rushed in bcoz he has so much heart he wants to be the best p4p champion. all the haters need to stfu.

He must be. I bet it's expensive as HELL. Cause I've never even heard of Blue Ray. Most of those rich ppl usually know the stuff we don't know about. I've heard of Blu Ray though, it's pretty damn clear.
