Was I impressed? I don't know man, Nonito didn't show me anything new that I haven't seen from him in his previous fights.

Donaire does have a legitimate excuse, he told Mario Lopez that he hurt his hand in the early rounds of the fight. So, maybe that explained why he was just throwing one punch at a time.

donaire picks his shots at all time. look at the martinez fight, the knockdowns were timed shots by nonito and he throws flurries when finishing an opponent(maldonado fight). on a side note, he always hurt his hands

i thought donaire fought like a damn ***** with his hands down potshotting and running. his left hook wasnt a factor simply because he wasn't sitting on it or even trying to throw it hard and mostly threw it on the run without his feet planted.

these kind of fights may cause him to develop some bad habits.. he needs to get in there with some real opposition. then again, im glad he didnt get an easy KO like he did in his last fight, maybe this was a wake up call.

I was impressed by his boxing skills. He is the opposite of Pac who always trade shots. Kinda dissapointed coz it was not a KO. Good win anyway.
