Lacy is way past his prime. He was weight-drained and he didn't look right at weigh-in. A prime Lacy would've lost less convincingly to current Roy. No way in hell does prime Lacy get two swollen eyes like today. Clearly, Roy cherry picked a past-prime Lacy to look more impressive than he would've against a Lacy of old. A Lacy of old would've damaged Roy's hands a lot less with his face.

I broke down and bought the fight... Roy had one of the best performances of his career IMO, granted he fought someone who allowed him to look good. Lacy got his attention in the first round, Roy didn't like a shot he got caught with near the end of the round. After that it was all Roy. Jeff was too slow, he made Roy look like "Super Man". It was a good performance.

That is bad... I mean, i`m Roy fan, but now people will say like: "he is back, he can become a champ" and bla, bla, bla... The worst thing will be if RJJ believes that himself... If he steps in the same ring with Dawson,Hopkins,Johnson or Cloud he will be in trouble...

I firmly believe Roy would outbox Hopkins, again. To be effective against "old Roy" you'd have to be aggressive and have a high output. Hopkins is a counter puncher, both of them would be waiting on each the entire night but Jones is still fast enough to score to get a points win. Johnson/Dawson...I agree he needs to stay clear of both those guys.
