What Are Paul Williams Biggest Wins??

So a one round knock out can't be a fluke like the first fight???
Ok here are my thoughts on that. First, I never said the first fight was a fluke. I just think Quintana had a perfect plan that Williams was not prepared for. But if people are going to start labeling the second fight a fluke I can give you far more evidence that the first fight with Quintana was more of a fluke than the second fight. First of all lets compare their careers:
1. Williams has never been beaten up and knocked in the way Quintana was against Cotto. In that sense Quintana has shown a weakness that Williams has not shown. He can't take a lot of punishment. Williams took some bombs against Margarito and fought back. Quinitana folded twice in that situation.
2 Williams has shown that he can beat A level competition like Margarito and Wright. You can say Wright was past his best and he was, but how many middleweights today can you truthfully say would dominate even this version of Wright like that? Quintana's biggest win is over Joel Julio who is NOT an A level fighter and has shown he never will be.
3. Williams has shown he can rebound from a loss and win big fights. Quintana has done nothing since the big loss to Williams. Now tell me which looks more like a fluke?Last edited by joseph5620; 08-15-2009, 07:44 PM.Comment

Probably because he barely won vs Margarito, it wasnt like he beat the crap out of him and Marg was coming on late in that fight. Then he got beat in his first title defense, he lost pretty much every round. Yes he redeemed his loss but then fought bums like Kolle and Verno Phillips and a washed up Winky.Comment

He did not lose almost every round. Thats spin. And winning a close decision over a champion that was favored to beat you is not a legitimate reason for criticism.
