So why did he refuse to fight JMM at 140????

I'm no Floyd fan by any stretch of the imagination. But here are the double standards. People call Cotto a warrior for dropping as little weight as possible to fight Pacquiao, but yet Mayweather is fighting JMM one pound lower than what Cotto is coming in against Pacquiao and gets bashed for it. As a fan of JMM, I would've rather had JMM fight Mayweather at 147 believe it or not. Skills pay the bills. There are already a couple of things that will take shine off of JMM's potential victory over Floyd. The ring rust and the rib injury. I want Mayweather to be at his absolute best so that one of my favorite fighters will get the full credit for beating him.

In boxing, "inactive" refers to actual competition. There is no substitute for fighting top-level guys. And getting hit for real.

And hatton, barly landed any legal punches and got countered for 2 round straight. Mayweather will aim to prove that since Pacman struggled with Marquez, Mayweather will knock Marquez out, just to upstage Pacqiou. This wont be competitive. Mayweather by knockout in 6 or 7 rounds..Marquez doesnt have the defensive skills necessary to win this type of fight against a naturally bigger oppenent. He wont hurt Mayweather and he isnt sharper than Mayweather. There is no way that this is close, and there is no way Marquez wins..
