Light Flyweight: up to 106 pounds
Flyweight: 112
Bantamweight: 119
Featherweight: 125
Lightweight: 132
Light Welterweight: 141
Welterweight: 152
Middleweight: 165
Light Heavyweight: 178
Heavyweight: 201
Super Heavyweight: over 201
This is the amateur weight classes at the moment, I aint saying exactly like this obviously not... but with a bit of altering about the difference between the weights it could work.Comment

Yeah actually come to think of it that would work... it would look like this;
Junior Flyweight - 105
Flyweight - 112
Bantamweight - 118
Featherweight - 126
Lightweight - 135
Welterweight - 147
Middleweight - 160
Super Middleweight - 175
Light Heavyweight - 190
Heavyweight - 215
Super Heavyweight - 215+Comment

I'm not convinced. Heavyweight should stay as it is imo. Heavyweights just need to get in shape by eating right and working harder in the gyms etc.
It's no wonder people aren't challenging the Klitchsko brothers when they are that out of shape. They have no stamina at all it's an embarresment to the sport.Comment

This would be the top list in the "ordinary" heavyweight division:
1. David Haye
2. Eddie Chambers
3. Ruslan Chagaev
4. Fres Oquendo
5. Oleg Platov
Doesn't look too bad, does it?Comment

Still though, wouldn't this have more possibility of it eliminating the history of Heavyweight Boxing?Comment

Outside the Klit there are no Superheavyweights that are any good, Its been proven time and again that shorter heavyweights can beat tall ones. I would actually get rid of the cruiserweight division and integrate that back into heavyweight and increase the weight limit of Light Heavyweight.Comment

I agree. LHW division is too small and the CW division is too big tho. I think the CW division should get 190 back as its upper limit. That would enable many more talents from cruiserweight to get into the "new" heavyweight division. LHW should be 170 to 179 and CW 180 to 190.Comment
