Floyd is very adept at managing his image.

Here is a guy who was making big money before he was a big name. He is very good at keeping the shine on him.

Floyd always says that he fights for checks, not bragging rights. And keeping the mystery in his sparring techniques and methods keeps people wondering.

Plus, look at the way the haters have latched on to the Spaddy session for nearly ten years.

I guess it might be a psychological thing, he might find it as an advantage cause if in 24/7 they can't see his sparring it would be hard to see how good/bad his camp is going, making the opponents team more weary and worried, just a thought I guess... who knows.

Maybe it would help limit the trainers from finding any weaknesses in him, I mean there aren't many floors in him but if they appear more in sparring than a fight maybe he wants to prevent that... again, just a thought... who knows.

It might also be a thought of, obviously he puts his tactics into practice when he spars, he might not want people to know his tactics... even though he can adapt very well to various styles when in the ring alone, maybe it is to put across the thought of, I aint giving my tactics away... you can try to find out on fight night, who knows.

Perhaps it's a ritual of his and he think if he allowed the footage to be shown that it would somehow compromise his efforts in the ring.

            Who know, really?

Personally I think he's not even sparring ; I think he sends the cameras away, kicks back, sips Kool Aid with Senior, and eats potato chips with Roger.
This is a good point I guess, besides the Kool Aid bit!

As Bringer said... it might just make him feel more comfortable psychologically...

because Paul Spadafora recorded it once and showed the world on showtime or espn that he put it on Mayweather and since then no more videos...

A lot of fighters don't allow it. Roy Jones didn't either in his prime. Which reminds me, I was watching footage of a prime Barrera sparring the other day. Un...****ing...real. I say this now - you may not believe me (and it sure didn't translate to being better in the ring) - but Barrera's pad work was as good, if not better than Floyd's. Absolutely amazing.

Considering Spadafora was training for a fight and Floyd wasnt, that kinda makes sense.
