The Gatti Family bash her - she bashes The Gatti Family: who do you believe?
Your favorite boxer who gave you great fights, never gave up but had 'issues' outside the ring?
Or a young, immature Brasilera who 'used' to dance to support herself while she was studying in New Jersey? She originally comes from a decent family in Brazil.

If she was such a bad woman, why would Gatti have signed over his will to her? Why would he have renewed his marriage vows with her weeks before his death? WHY?
And if the answer is: 'Gatti wasn't of sound-mind and had problems to even consider doing that with this whore', then by logic, you can argue that same state of mind could've contributed to suicide.

Sorry, but she's been cleared once - she maybe cleared a second time...by CANADIAN authorities....so what does that leave you with?
An innocent woman who's struggling to get her head around this like everyone else and may just have had her life irrevocably changed.
IF, however, that 2nd autopsy comes back as 'foul-play'....well, then we're entering a whole new phase of this messy affair, and it's 'Game On'.

JCHING - by Brasileria standards, a solid 8 out of 10.

she did it.. anyone who thinks otherwise hasnt seen what women are capable of

no one stabs themself in the back of the head and hangs themself. no one is in a house with their husband/wife and doesnt notice they are dead for 10 hours on a honeymoon

The major issues I have with this are:

          - Gatti's death goes from crime scene to suicide.

          - It's initially reported Amanda gave conflicting statements on the happenings and this is what got her locked up to begin with.

          - Amanda tries to suggest a break in and killing originally... not this 'he was depressed' ****.

          - The multiple accounts of her trying to get her hands on Arturo's money (that include Gatti's legal rep speaking on this).

          - The bizarre stance of insisting Arturo break all contact with his 3 year old daughter. This speaks selfishness and apathy in volumes to me. There is no good character trait I can spin on this to add to Amanda's now public profile.

Just because she is squeezing out some tears now does not make all of that go away.

Yeah, there's a lot of issues that haven't been cleared up or addressed.
            1 - That's the Keystone Kops / media's fault.

2 - Hours after the death, she claimed a third-party must have come in and done it. When police made their initial statement to the press, they said no-one else could've entered and electronic-card records showed only Arturo and Amanda entered.
That's why they arrested her on the spot.
The coroner's report suggested a possible suicide a couple of days after and the police started to get all antsy.
(don't forget, she is in jail while all this is going on)
The final verdict comes in as suicide. She is released and is told of the verdict and obviously puts 2+2 together, i.e. "well, he was showing signs of depression, but..."

            3 - See 2, above.

4 - "It is more than normal that my husband had a will done, and that me and my son were the main beneficiaries on that will. His family was me and Junior. Strange would be if in that will he would have included another woman or his brothers, for instance. I was his wife, not his girlfriend. I never heard of any father that has a family putting brothers and sisters as beneficiaries. What really bothers Arturo's family is not the fact that he is not here anymore, or the reason why he is not here. It's the simple fact that they are not included in the will. I know that even after the private autopsy, when it is proven for the second time that I did not do any harm to my husband, they will still be against me, claiming and fighting in the expectation of receiving anything regarding Arturo's estate.
I also want to make clear that Arturo's daughter, Sofia Bella Gatti, has her future guaranteed. Arturo would never let anything miss for his daughter. The will explains with details what she gets. Sofia Bella Gatti owns two accounts — one for her college fund, and another as her trust account."

5 - "Regarding Arturo not being present in Sofia's life, that has nothing to do with me. The problems that he had with Sofia's family started way before I met him. Arturo was supervised and monitored during all the visits that he made to his daughter. As a dad, he felt uncomfortable with that situation. This issue and other problems that he had with his daughter's mother changed his behaviour toward his daughter. Obviously he loved her, but he had to deal with a lot of drama to see Sofia. I have documents for attorneys that can prove what I am stating. Also, Arturo did want to have more contact and a closer relationship with his daughter. Everyone that doesn't know the story and even some that do know just find it convenient and easier to blame me for all the problems, but the reality is very different. I never asked Arturo or his family members (who also had no contact with his daughter) to stop seeing his daughter, because before anything I am still a mother."

6 - True, but at least she's showing some emotion and opening up about it and trying to clear up things that people are saying.

Or maybe we should be waiting for her out on the town, nightclubbing with a new guy?

Latest? The coroner's report on the 2nd autopsy could take months, not weeks for a final decision to be made...

They got Dr. Michael Baden from HBO's Autopsy to do the second autopsy. He is supposed to be the best in the biz. He's already stated that the second autopsy doesn't rule out homicide and the first autopsy was incomplete and there were injuries that weren't even cited in the original forensic report. I'm anxious to know what the full report will reveal. I hope his family will finally get some sort of closure when it's all said and done.

I'm guessing the secondary wounds will be the rocks/stones thrown at Gatti by the crowd and the toxicology report won't show anything drastic...just how much alcohol he'd been drinking on the night in comparison to how much was added during the embalming process.

Long wait to find out though....months.

that letter is pretty good at defending her....the only thing thats hard getting past is why did she see him dead and think he passed out and come back 10 hours later and report it?
