Yeah let's add on to that.

Hmm, Roberto Duran was arguably the greatest lightweight ever.

Juan Manuel Marquez has had one fight at that weight.

      Roberto Duran was still young.

Juan Manuel Marquez is aging and slowing.

Duran beat the best fighters at 135.

Juan Manuel Marquez never did and, quite honestly, won a paper title.

And so forth and so forth.

Marquez won the WBO and WBA after beating Diaz and also beat Casamayor

Marquez is aging and slowing? Well Floyd hasn't fought in 2 years...

I'm not a fan of the fight but a tuneup is a tuneup.

I don't mind PBF taking this fight.

He's been out of the ring for what will be nearly 2 years.

The guy deserves a tune-up, but it's just wrong when it gets treated like something it really, really isn't.

I'd rather him fight Collazo/Quintana but they don't bring in the same $ as Marquez would...

boxasmash is just trying to **** on Floyd...that was the point of this thread...

Diaz and Casamayor weren't the best in the division. In essence, Marquez was at best the #2 fighter at 135. Not even the man in the division. Casamayor? Diaz? Let's put the bias aside and talk like adults here.

There was no man at 135...Diaz, Casamayor, Campbell, and David Diaz

Marquez beat 2 of those guys.

There's bias when you pretend Nate Campbell wasn't the man at 135. Diaz? Juan Diaz? Didn't he just get his a** kicked by Nate? Everyone knows Campbell was the man. Did Marquez beat two top guys at 135? Sure but he wasn't the man in the division.
