Take your mind back to December 8th 2007

Would you have laughed if I told you the WBC Welterweight champion of the world would fight the WBC Super featherweight champion of the world in his next fight?

To be fair Marquez was THE lightweight champion of the world.

Doesn't stop Mayweather being a ***** though, especially when the Welteweight division is so loaded with potentially great match ups. Also Marquez is about 5 years older than him which makes it even worse. Cherry picking at it's finest.

**** Mayweather. I hope the PPV bombs, Marquez makes his $4M and knocks PBF out cold.

It's the stone lifting and taco eating that's done it.

Nobody forced Marquez to move up...and he called Mayweather out...

So what if it was Nonito Donaire who called out Floyd?

Roberto Duran moved from 135 to 147 to beat the WW champ Leonard...I didn't hear any arguments about that...
