    is pacman over rated

i think that people are makeing to big of deal out of this guy,you say who. manny pacman paquiao.y every one could clearly see oscar was not him self that night,he was and washed up fighter who could onley punch 10 times a round.hatton wow what could you say, he was a super fool that night running in with his hands down after going down 2 times.it sounds to me he was realy all washed up after the fight with floyd, off those 2 fights is what made manny big.after seeing those fights and seeing how the conditions were of manny's challenge's, is he realy as good as we think, maybe. nov.14 will determen that as some hard core boing fan's think.

I don't beleive he is overrated. People kind of look at his last 2 fights and forgets what he has done during the rest of his career.

His last 2 fights do not define what Pacquiao has done in boxing, it just raised his superstar status and popularity. Everybody knows that DLH was drained and old but it was his decision to fight Pacquiao under those circumstances and Pacman took advantage not only on that but on DLH popularity to raise his own. Smart move if you ask me. Then there's the Hatton fight. Do people forget that Hatton spend a lot of time in the P4P top 10 list and Pacquiao destroyed him in 2 rounds??? But lets take away these 2 fights and you will still see a great resume with 6 victories over 3 future hall of fame greats and considered at those moments as part of the p4p best also, (Morales, Barrera, JMM) not to metioned that 3 of those victories came via KO. If you add to this, that his pro debut was at 107lbs you will have a resume that a lot of current Hall Of Fame boxers will envy.

Whether or not he will be successful at WW is yet to be seen but Pacquiao has earned his right to enjoy the popularity that he has and the rating (#1) of the current P4P best is very well deserved.

This fight is 2nd to none for this year! Definitely the most anticipated fight bar none!

he probably would've - DLH has a great chin even when weight drained but pac is definitely not a light puncher and if more punches landed on DLH he would eventually go down but we would never know since the fight was stopped.

Boxing fans anticipate a Pacman/Cotto bout is more exciting and money's worth than the trash talking Mayweather and Marquez Fight.

you have a point. though ive boxed, i never have professionally. but, the fans and people who pay to watch boxers are entitled to opinions. were the ones who create pay per view buys and buy tickets. although people tend to make idiot comments. in the mayweather situation you have an extremely talented boxer who makes claims he cant back up, and open the door to critics. hes a wasted talent who will never face someone he thinks can beat him. and people are catching on to that. thats why ticket sales were so bad for his up coming fight.

let's not forget that the fans from both camp will enjoy this. Cotto and MP were professional and respectful to each other. MP got a loud cheer from Rican fans when he watched Cotto Clottey fight. Im sure Cotto will get the same treatment from pinoy fans as well so there is no need for hate remarks...Lets just enjoy this, this is good for the fans and good for boxing. Forget FMJ this is not about him...
