Paul didnt get the best fights at welter weight so he went up.
Sugar Ray and Hearns waited years and had to be pretty much forced to fight Marvelous Marvin.
Ray Leonard was pretty clear when he told Pryor he didnt want any part of him.
Now the Vitali Klitsko that is a pretty good person to insert. Definitely one of the ducked.
You can take pretty much any black fighter from the turn of the century and your list is trash.

I asked what was the basis of your list and why you mention those three as I cannot see them having any legitimate claim to being avoided.

Legendary Nights shows Pryor calling out Leonard, so Leonard was scared, right?.

Also, Legendary Nights says a Nicaraguan judge (named Ken Morita) had Arguello winning every round against Pryor (he was ahead 2 points after 13 rounds), so that must've been true, correct?

It also said Chavez dominated the rematch with Taylor. That must have been true too.

Well the story behind Pryor and Leonard is that they apparently had gym wars when training for the Olympics and even when they both got into the Pros Pryor literally went into one of Ray's press conferences and asked for a fight with Sugar Ray giving him the cold shoulder.

Leonard probably could've beaten him, but at that point Ray was onto big fights (Hearns, Duran II, etc) and a fight with Pryor might've been a bit too risky.

Anybody can call out an opponent. It doesn't mean **** other than hype. Leonard could say yes or no in a press conference, what matters is what is written on a contract.

The written story is that Leonard "low-balled" Pryor by offering him half a million, but that was still WAY more than Pryor was getting around that time.

The truth is that Taylor lost a step in the second fight. I just have to ask are you 100yrs old? lolololol. Well it is easy to ignore those ancient fighters when racism was totally acceptable. Archie Moore was a good pick but outside of that I can only talk about fighters I was alive to see. Now email me your birth certificate. hahahahahaha. If you are over 70 then I apologize.
