      Yea, but to think he deserves all the money isn't right. That's what's wrong with boxing. The money should go back into the sport to grow it and promote it. That's why the UFC keeps growing. The money keeps getting put back into promotion and boxing is losing fans because the promotion is terrible. Adamek can't even get on TV.

        Sorry you need some attention is that it? Ok so you say no but what does HBO do for young fighters that don't have megapromters tied to the network? If you don't sign with a top rank or GBP then HBO regardless of how good you are won't touch you. Agree?

          if they have talent, WHY WOULD A PROMOTER SKIP OVER THEM....

          promoters make money on TALENT...

          they wont be w/o for too long... even main events will pick em up...

            The UFC arument doesn't apply because it's 1 company that has all it's fighters under 1 umbrella boxing is completely different.

              Of course its bad for boxing. Its created a monster where fighters hold out for HBO money and don't fight unless they get it.

              The idiot pull****er is wrong again.

              Boxing is flourishing everywhere else in the world where HBO is not present.

              Watch a European fight sometime for proof.

              Hbo=bad for boxing.

                Why did it take JC so long to get on HBO? The network works with certain promoters it's all in-house.

HBO needs to stop concentrating on names and just make good fights. That is the biggest problem. Make Cunningham-Adamek 2,Bika-Green etc. Make B.A.D. cards what they were suppose to be Alexander-Bradley,Ortiz-Alvardo,Valero-Soto and if the promoters balk say fine go and try and make money else where. Which they won't be able 2 do.
                  hbo is in the business to make money.

                  boxing orgs are supposed to be the guarantors of good fights.

                      The argument that more money should be spent promoting fighters does apply. Sure Adamek can bring in some fans, but live gate is nothing compared to tv money. If he would take a pay cut and put himself on undercards of big fights people would actually see him, and it would lead to big pay days. His last fight he defended his Ring Magazine championship on ****ing internet stream ppv.
