I've been saying this for a long time..Ricky Hatton has come out swinging at the recent comments that were made by Floyd Mayweather Jr. Hatton was upset over some of the recent comments that Mayweather made about ending his career. Hatton suffered his first loss with a ten-round stoppage to Mayweather in December of 2007. [details]

true. Mayweather is as big of a draw as anybody fighting currently. I can't see anyone doing sales without the a fight the public is excited for. Its fun to ignore this because people like to bash Mayweather.I think it goes the same for all them guys like Floyd/Hatton/Pac
because if they could sell with any other ordinary fighter then
they wouldn't be looking for other big name opponents MEANING
Mosley would fight Clottey, Pacquiao would fight Valero and Oscar
would not have fought Floyd or Pac. When each fighter has fought
someone that wasn't as famous then the turnout wasn't that big.
Each fighter Boxing superstar need one another to sell big fights.Comment

Ive said it before and I will say it again. Mayweather is not a huge draw but it has nothing to due with his personality. The truth is that there are no American draws in boxing. thats just the state of boxing in america. America has become too PC and as we know boxing is as politically incorrect as possible. America as a whole just dont care about boxing as much as they once did. Mosley is a great guy but he cant sell. It not really fair to compare floyd to a Hatton, Or pacquio, or even a cotto. They come from countrys that still care about boxing the way that americans did in the 40's-80's. But floyd is probably the best american draw out right now.Comment

fatt hatt may have a point...but he may not...i don't think it's possible in 2009 for floyd to have a match in vegas and not sell out...Comment
