Poor post. If I were you I'd go back and edit it.

It's not like Lewis even talked about retiring until Vitali showed him there was a new dog in the yard. If he said win or lose I'm out before the fight that's one thing but I remember the promoters and even Lewis were dangling the possibility of a rematch for months and then he suddenly retires. He ducked a rematch plain and simple.

Vitali has only gone the distance once, and has had stamina problems ever since that fight with Lennox. The latter, on the other hand, made good on all the full-distance fights he went through, and never wilted. We will never know who would've wilted on that night. Never. Get over it. You're probably doing damage to your brain by ragging on about it so much.
Please give us an example of Vitali's "stamina problems". Really looking forward to this.

it was a close fight until the stoppage and vitaly was giving lewis problems, but lewis was way out of shape and undertrained.

                prime lewis destroys vitaly AGAIN!!!

Manny pacquaio completly dominated the 1st 2 round against marquez in the first fight. We all know what happen at the end.

Who cares? Lewis was old and past his prime and still beat one of the guys who are still ruling the division 5 years later.

Vitali was clearly winning the fight 4-2 on all 3 scorecards. Lewis was badly hurt and was staggering around the ring like a drunk, he barely survived the 2nd round and was hurt again later in the fight.

                      punches landed

                      Vitali 156

                      Lewis 102

Lewis was exhausted and worn down from the accumulation of punches, he collapsed onto his stool at the end of the 6th round, Vitali was the fresher of the two, he was a man on a mission that night and would've KO'd Lewis if the fight had continued.

Lewis promised Vitali a rematch if he could beat Kirk Johnson

Vitali destroyed Johnson in 2....the scared Lewis retired like a coward shortly after that fight.

Lewis turned down 25 million dollars for a rematch and retired like a coward because he knew Vitali would destroy him and tarnish his legacy.
