Pacquiao is where he is now because many champions and superstars underestimated his punching power and failed to duck him ledwaba, barrera, marquez, morales, dela hoya... marquez denied him a rematch after the first fight when he got acquainted with Pacquiao's power.

Joshua Clottey no doubt is tougher and can take bigger puches than Pacquiao but i believe Pacquiao has more power in his punch than Clottey so i hope Cotto will not make the mistake of underestimating the pacman again so this fight will not end early.

You're right, my bad. I'm not disagreeing with Hopkins though, Pac can win if the cut reopen and accumulation of punches can give Manny the win but Manny's lack of defense and Manny's warrior heart will get him to trade with Cotto and get KO'ed.

a natural 135lber has more punching power than a natural 175lber.

I don't think it's pure power it's that when he gets you he hits you right on the chin, no head no nothing just pure chin that's how he drops you.

Cotto must have a lot of scar tissue. Look at his recent fights: Clottey nasty cut on eyebrow, Margarito - nasty cuts on eye, lips and nose, Mosley - cut over right eye, Judah - cut over right eye, lips/mouth bleeding badly, Urkal - Cotto cut up pretty bad above his left eye.

The only fights he hasn't been cut in recently were against Jennings and Gomez. Against everyone else he's been cut up (obviously margarito & clottey being the worst).

That means there is a lot of scar tissue all over his face. Both of his eyes have been cut bad and he's had problems bleeding from the mouth/lips and nose as well. Bhop isn't far off here, Cotto WILL be cut up provided the fight lasts more than 3-4 rounds. The question is how bad it will be.
