The only question in my mind is how much Cotto was affected by that Margs fight. If he still hass a lot left in the tank then I say Cotto by KO.
As for the Hopkins/Calzaghe fight, Hopkins deserved to lose using the tactics he did, in fact if I had my way both Calzaghe and Hopkins would get a L for that fight.

I think that could mean the outcome of the fight.

          Check this interview out!

The whole interview is very interesting but "6:56" is something
everyone on Boxing scene needs to hear about Freddy Roach
talking about why he didn't want Pac to fight Shane Mosley.
And he also sounds a lil skeptical about Pac and Cotto BUT
you decide and see for yourself.

            what do they know?

Lets compare; strength: cotto 6 pac 4, speed: cotto 5, pac 5, boxing: cotto 7 pac 3. How can anybody give pac a chance of beating Cotto? Because speed? What happen to moestley? Plus Cotto is faster that pac at 145 no doubt about that. Wonder how much is Hopkins beating on pac? cero, nada, nothing.

I think you are very confused about all those attributes to both fighters...

I also have Cotto as the better overall fighter of the two... Better technique, power, footwork, timing, ring generalship, and defense.... Pac has faster hands with amazing head movement. In the end I don't see Pacquiao surprising Cotto with speed because Cotto has seen speed before (Judah, Mosley, Malignaggi)... And the fact is Cotto handles speed very well as he counters it with his amazing timing and powerful jab. Pacquiao is in for a nightmare and I don't know how he will handle Cotto's tendency for switching to southpaw and his "patient-pressure".

even though cotto has been cut in all his tough fights recently he still wins every fight and knows how to handle a cut...the clottey fight had the worst cut so it caused problems but he still managed to win enough rounds even though he couldnt block the right hand...

the margarito fight had more to do with the broken nose and and blood in the mouth and that fight is irrelevant anyway unless capetillo steps in as co-trainer

                    Hopkins is the man.

No wonder Roger Mayweather , Floyd Sr. and De La Hoya are a bunch of comedians and clowns
