The time he got smashed was partly because he was looking up at a beanpole for the first time and panicked and thought he had to get in close to be effective.

That in and out cautious style he installed against both Barrera and Kotelnik is going to be irritating for anyone.

Still thinks Bradley would get him, that punch he caught Witter with was pretty big. I don't think Khan could take that one.

Bradley seems to be small in and height hand reach and i think a guy who is as fast as Khan who is now Boxing exclusively from long range could make it a difficult fight for him.

    Yeah id still favour Bradley.

If Khan didn't have such a bad chin he'd be a tough watch nowadays.

I do admire him though, making the most of what he has really.

It will prolly be the kind of scenario where by............he does okay for a while and racks up a few nice wins and then gets ****** out when you least expect it.

        Ala..........Norris, Junior Jones.

In some ways Khan could do ok against Bradley, largely becaue I do not think very highly of Bradley on a techinical level (atleast on the outside). Still Bradley is good at fighting on the inside and he knows how to get inside, Khan could have some success from the outside but I do not think he could keep Bradley off of him for more then 4 rounds unless Bradley played into Khan's game. Once Bradley gets to the inside it would be curtains for Kahn (imo).

The problem with this thread is most are discounting Lamont Peterson in this debate. Top Rank is not going to allow Shaw and Bradley to ignore the mandatory with Peterson and although Peterson won't bring near the money to the table that Khan will in the UK he will bring a more formidable test than Khan.

Although I respect Bradley for the course he has taken in his career, ie going overseas to win a belt and fighting whoever they put in front of him even from an early stage in his career, I think a lot of fans are massively over-rating him. His chin is still suspect, he is off balance a lot, his right hand has a loop to it creating a wideness that can be easily countered and he is not a big puncher at all. I think Peterson dethrones Bradley and makes the conversation about Bradley/Khan useless.

Peterson has a good shot but only if he uncorks that right hand on Bradley, he starts with jab and does not put anything behind it he will get outworked, that wont keep Bradley at bay, and ive seen Peterson get too left orientated in his fights already so he needs to change that up if he is to beat Bradley.

              I hear you there.

I think Bradley loops the right because of his lack of height, he cant compete with the jab so he spends time trying to make the jab fall short or time it so he can come over the top, he slides down after throwing the right hand and rolls back into position which is smart thing to do after throwing the right hand imo.

Agree with pretty much everything you said. I just think Bradley's style plays right into the hands of a precision counter puncher like Peterson. And oddly because of the styles I think it will be a very TV friendly fight. Peterson does need to throw more rights and I believe he will with a guy coming forward and active like Bradley. Against a feather fisted counter puncher like Blain Peterson was able to live off of his jab and hook when Blain was actually in punching distance, which was not very often which led to a dreadfully boring fight. Peterson is also a much better defensive fighter than Holt and Campbell and will not get caught by any of Bradley's looping right hands. He will counter those rights though with double left hooks to the body and head. I don't think boxing fans really understand how technically good Lamont Peterson really is. After the Bradley fight they will. Good points though.

I like both Peterson and i think he does have what it takes to beat Bradley provided he does what we said.........let that right hand go.

I would not mind seeing the fight, Peterson Bros look like they have what i takes and they seem to have enough experience behind them now so....

Is it Anthony or Lamont that is an excellent Body puncher, they might both be but i noticed in one of their fights how effective one of them was at going down stairs, i cant remember because i get them mixed up
