Diaz didnt have an internal hemmorage of his eye. Why does everyone keep babbling about the cut? Nate himself told the cutman to forget about the cut, that he had a serious eye problem.

It seems that no matter how many times you say "it wasnt the cut", people still babble on about "well so and so had a worse cut". I believe it when the govt. says kids graduate these days with about a 7th grade reading level. It sure shows in these boards sometimes.......

The rules are clear. If an injury due to an accidental foul results in the fight being stopped before 4 rounds, its a NC. Bradley doesnt hit hard enough to bruise a ripe peach, so anyone who thinks a punch caused that eye injury and not the headbutt is simply ******ed.

I don't think theres been a fighter I hate more than Nate Campbell. First the fight where he acts like an idiot, drops his hands and gets kayo'ed. Then he bitches about Guzmans weight which is fine but his very next fight he does the same thing and makes a bull **** excuse of "I'm old, I can't make this weight". Fuck off *******. Now this where he WAS trying to find a way out of this fight. This guy is a piece of **** and I don't respect him at all.

It was a butt and probably should be a NC but Bradley should not rematch him. Nate is not on the same level as Tim.

Any boxer who didn't do what Campbell did in those circumstances should be sent to a psychiatric hospital and not let out. His eye was bleeding on the inside. The fight had to be stopped immediately, and he had to make the referee aware of the seriousness of the injury. Boxing is a sport. Taking risks is one thing, throwing away your eyesight for life is something else entirely and is the sort of thing that gives boxing a bad name.

What is really pathetic is internet "warriors" who never risk their lives in the ring criticising a true warrior like Campbell and calling him a quitter. That's like a poodle yapping at a lion from a safe distance.

And it was a terrible refereeing decision. It should be overturned and declared a NC, and the WBO should force Bradley to give Campbell a rematch.

I can name at least 10 world class fighters who would fight on.

a blood vessel in his eye burst. he could not see out of that eye. its not like the skin around his eye swelled up and blocked his vision; his cutman could've worked on that... but there was no way his cutman could work on that burst blood vessel.
