Jones is willing to allow elbows and kicks vs Silva...

Small joint manipulation is imo one of the nastiest things you could do, getting your opponents fingers/toes to the point that they will never work again. It's been banned for a reason.
My index finger in the right hand got twisted almost to the back of the hand and it doesn't fully close the fist anymore. The first joint in that finger stays about 1/3 inch out comparing to the others.Comment

I'm sorry but your an absolute idiot. I bet you have never even watched an MMA match by the way you're talking. Jones's only chance is if it is just a boxing match. He would get killed and then all of you MMA haters would just say, well he was too old.Silva would not land any kicks, RJ's still too fast and timing too good for any standup attack Anderson can throw at him. The only place Silva can get at him is if Roy got his back to the ropes.
The thing is, that you don't realize how huge the skills gap is between boxing and mma standup. In boxing, Roy would smash him without getting touched. In kickboxing, RJ would get sc****d a couple times, nothing he wouldn't be able to handle.Comment

I don't like the kick and elbow stuff against someone as good as Anderson Silva.
I thought Silva wanted to fight Roy in a boxing match. That's just as silly as roy wants to challenge Silva under MMA rules.
Roy destroys Silva in a boxing match and Silva destroys Roy in MMA.Comment

True, the common MMA-bashing boxing fans just don't understand that Jones and all the other boxers don't have any clue of how to defend their legs from kicks. Silva with his speed and skills capitalizes on it immediately, and the bout very likely ends like I said in one of my previous posts.
Silva has longer limbs and better reach by that, so it can't be very hard for a fighter of his level to take out a man almost completely out of his element.
Well, it seems impossible for those to get that, so why even try?Comment

I'm not saying that this would necessarily happen to Roy, but he needs to take notice of the situation he's getting into.Comment
