Larios is one of the most beloved Mexican fighters here in Japan. His fights against Nakazato, Linares and Aoh will never be forgotten. He will be remebered as a champion not only due to his two division reign but also on account of his gentle demeanor. Thanks for your memorable fights.

Good. Enjoy your retirement. Pointless for him to continue, he must have had 70+ plus fights, many of them gruelling battles. He's pretty old in boxing years.

It's a good decision, he's fallen off a long way and I always thought he was a disaster waiting to happen. Glad to hear he's called it day.

that guy showed signs of major slippage by the 3rd isreal vasquez fight, or the second, i cant remember, it was on the jones/tarver 3 undercard and i just saw him not looking the same. When he fought pac in the phillipines he actually hurt pac and i was shocked. that was basically the last good fight i saw him in.

Yeah, the guy was in some really tough fights and wars. I think you mean the third one because the second one he won and it was a great fight.

                      About time......

Larios had reach his peak several years ago and is on the way down. Glad he didn't wait to reach the bottom.....
