Oscar Larios Announces His Retirement From Boxing

After several weeks of thinking it over, former two division champion Oscar Larios has announced his retirement from the sport of boxing. At the young age of 32, Larios was involved in 77 pro bouts (69-7-1, 39KOs). He last fought in March, losing his WBC featherweight title to Takahiro Aoh. After taking a beating at the hands of Jorge Linares in July of 2007 in Las Vegas, he was medically suspended from fighting in the United States after some post-medical exams revealed a minor subdural hematoma [brain bleed]. He didn't stop his career and continued to fight in Mexico and Japan. [details]

I read that he had some brain problems and he couldn't fight in the US.It's better thi sway.

Very good Mexican champion. He has a career he can be proud of. He provided a lot of entertaining fights.

Earn my respect by fighting good competition...good move on him to retire and move on with his life.
