Vitali is 38 and has been shown to be vulnerable in the first round. Chris has two chances, to go after him early and with a vengeance, or wait until after the 6th or so when Vitali starts to lean back more to avoid punches, then attack him with combinations. I think Vitali will win, but his chances aren't as good as the 5 or 6 to 1 odds indicate.

        So Vitali didn't pull out...

Those old kickboxing injuries have healed long ago.

Of course he stands a chance, but a extremly thin one I feel. Arreola is made for Vitali, he has no defence, is easy to hit and a shaky chin. Vitali will pick him apart with power punchers and score a KO/TKO victory.

I used to think that Chris had a good chance. But watching the weigh-in, I just don't like the size that Chris is giving up.

Does anyone think Arreola will last more than 8 rounds?

I'm thinking it will end in the 7th or 8th. Arreola will probably go down from an accumulation of Vitali's punches.

But that being said, there's a chance Vitali's age will have caught up to him and Arreola will catch him with some big punches before that.

I only give him a small outside change but he is still a very risky opponent. Chris is young and very hungry (no pun intended)

He also has good power and skills. Vitali will need to be focused.

I'd say outside chance. Maybe Vitali's age will show up and it could just be Arreola's night. But Vitali should win it.
