He lost the fight due to lack of gameplan/working with his Dad and shane being 37 years old no? funny thing is he only beat 37 yr old Shane 1-2 rounds on my card
Again that's your opinion with the purpose of discrediting Cotto's win. Make all the excuses you want Cotto beat Mosley. He outbullied him, out boxed him and won convincingly. Mosley knew he lost after the bell rung so knock that he only won 1-2 on your card.

ok, I'm going to play your assumption game.

Margarito was dehrayted and did not have his plaster so the quality of fighter was not there that night. SO his win means nothing.

True cotto and castillo are not the same. cotto is much better all around. better puncher, more power, better jab and left hook and better resume.

Mayorga was tailor made for shane as well, but he had no head movement in that fight, and didn't use his jab. Naaz got Mosley a great gameplan. He would have beat Margarito regardless, but he would have not looked good.

I pretty much agree although I don't really think it was a great gameplan that won Shane the fight. Shane could not miss with his right hand and as the fight wore on he started really loading up with the right hand and still could not miss. It was a case of going to the well untill the well runs dry but the well never ran dry because of Margarito limitations.

The Mayorga fight was a pretty sloppy affair, and to be honest I thought Mayorga was on his way to getting stopped earlier but then he really started making it an ugly fight and Shane just let it happean. Shane really did not do a whole lot to get it back to a normal boxing contest (atleast before round 11) or really throw any meaningful punches from round 7 through round 10 (I think it was round 6 where Shane really beat Mayorga's ass it could have been 7 though been a while since I watched that fight).

I think Shane is somewhere inbetween in regard to how he looked in both those fights, but against any fighter who is a superior technical boxer to himself I think Shane will lose at this point.
