    Stamina issues...like in the Clottey fight? Lol.

        At least i give him the benifit if the doubt by questioning it, not stating it as fact like so many here.
        ------
        Edit;
        As far as Cotto's stamina, i believe beyond a shodow of a doubt he proved that he has good stamina fighting most of the Clottey fight with one effective eye.
        Clottey was pounding him with rights at one point...Cotto didn't go down, but etched out a very close win, which most experts, judges, commentaters and boxing fans have it scored 114-113.

        Floyd? Might be tough, maybe not, but i have Cotto winning it. Not predicting.

          He fought a great fight against Mosley, and beat him fair and square.

          Margo's a scum who should be banned forever for getting caught trying to cheat. Nobody ever put the beatdown on Cotto and messed up his face that bad. Open your eyes. Enough boxers deaths already.

              Cotto has a chance of beating him... of course he does, Cotto is a very good fighter in his own right... so he could beat Floyd, however I don't think he would beat Floyd, I think Floyd would outbox him and show he is clearly the better fighter and win by decision... by no means would it be like Baldomir though... and just to clear it up, what mangler said is right... Floyd could stop him... but not by demolishing him, it would just be the accurate punches adding up from countering all night, plus as the fight goes on Cotto usually gets more tired (you know what I mean), so there would be a chance of him stopping him, not by demolition... but like mangler said, accumulation of accurate punches and maybe Cotto fatiguing, it wouldn't be certain... and I think Floyd would most likely win by decision, but a stoppage isn't impossible, that's what I am saying, just like it isn't impossible for Cotto to beat Floyd.

              So basically, what I am saying is... I think Cotto could beat Floyd... but I don't think he would should they fight.

                I get what you are saying and I completely agree... Resto got banned for life, and all he got caught doing was taking padding out of gloves (well not 'just' its still terrible, but you get what I mean). Also, I think Margarito probably did use it against Cotto, I mean it obviously adds up... but at the end of the day there is no proof... so what I say means jack ****, I mean I wasn't there... what do I know?

If Cotto handles Pac's speed, while I still think Mayweather would win, I don't think he'll risk a fight with Cotto.
                  i'm not sure about that...if he would have ko'ed DLH...people would be saying otherwise...his style will never allow him to have an all out war with anybody...he doesn't want that...and his reasons are enough for me to accept...dude has the least marks in boxing...if he were a football player...he'd have the cleanest helmet...but he's constantly scoring points...and i really don't see why people think that floyd would ever even avoid cotto...i never saw him as a bigger threat than any other person floyd's fought...i think people will never let go of the timing of floyd's last 3 fights...it's pretty obvious that he's never run from anyone...i know this cause i was in the discussion before he fought hatton, DLH, and baldomir...people complained that he was still fighting judah and was ducking baldomir...so he fought baldo next...after that...he was offered 2 fights that were monumental to his status...it was during that time that cotto, margo, and shane came into the picture...but margo lost to paul williams...shane never wanted to fight floyd until DLH showed interest...and cotto was not close to being the name he is now...virtually a nobody till he beat zab...it was after that which he was considered a great opponent for floyd...sure he was mentioned before...but he still had a lot to prove...plus the fact that he has never called floyd out...that includes cotto's handlers...

                    In the first fight Floyd did have an injury against Castillo... just wanted to point that across... being fair, that's why he clearly won the second fight... in a Cotto fight it would be less likely for him to fight while injured, he probably learned his lesson... so using Castillo as an example (which is fair enough) isn't really quite enough to say Cotto can do the same... unless the injury was made up and was bull****, which I doubt... but if it was then its a fair example.

                    Exactly the same as to why I wouldn't use Cotto's loss to Margarito as an example, as I said there is no proof and that, but it will still be questioned for a long time so for the fact that I don't know whether he did or didn't use it against Cotto I wont use that fight as an example.

                      Weird, your sig pic kinda looks like Margarito as if a part of Tony lives inside of Miguel now.
