Sorry, most boxing fans don't judge fighters on what they did far past their primes. If we did we would have to say Holy gave up in the Toney fight.

Before round nine, with Holyfield bleeding heavily from the nose and mouth, trainer Don Turner asked him if he wanted another round. Apparently he did not answer, and when he went down mostly from exhaustion, Turner stopped it. He told Holyfield that he did it for his protection.

Neither is fair to two great warriors.
