    humans are not made like that. I can't believe he is gone forever. I wish i would of never read this. Just makes it worse. But really shows whar a warrior he was

            you know i always hear boxers use the old phrase version "you're going to have to kill me before you knock me out or win" but gatti was one of the few that took that phrase & meant it, literally.

              Sure. But then we would've missed out on a further 3 rounds of awesomeness. I don't think either fighter would've had it any other way.

              Malignaggi, though... I'm still on the fence about that one. OK, he was indeed getting creamed, but not brutally (even Cotto was busting him up worse). Hatton wouldn't have stopped him.
