      .....

Anyways, as I said before, this is the wrong fight to scout. Forrest isn't going to try to outstrike Silva, so look for the clinch as early and as fast as possible. This is going to be more of a grappling match then a strikers dance.

Silva has less than no chance to beat Roy boxing in a million years while Jones has a punchers chance in beating Silva before getting taken to the ground.

Can you imagine getting hit by a Rjj left hook or uppercut with a 6 oz glove on?

        MURDER.

he tapped out to a much smaller guy and couldn't even land a punch.

And he is not the only one,,,, but he is the most distinct due to the one glove issue.

Francois Botha lost to Sexyama in 04 via armbar.

and if you want to stretch the word professional, Butterbean losing to Genki Sudo in a freak show match up.

Although Botha arguably beat Etienne and gave Tyson a scare before getting KTFO, I'd still say he's not a great example of a great boxer going into MMA.

I think it's possible for a boxer to be successful in MMA as long as he understands that he can't limit himself to just boxing. Think Machida and Karate.

A great MMA fighter beats a great boxer in a street fight though.
